Pirates of the Caribbean 3

Yarrr! Here be Pirates!

Ahoy mates! Yesterday was the opening day of Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and what a show it was. A group of us went to the 10pm showing at Rave Theaters for the conclusion of the trilogy. It definitely was not the best of the trilogy (that would be POTC1) but in no way, shape, or form was it as bad as POTC2. I am surprised that it kept a PG-13 rating; it had vast amounts of violence and visual deaths that the other movies referred to, but never portrayed to the audience in visual form. I shall not give my review of the movie quite yet, as it has only been out for a day and a half and most of you probably haven't had a chance to see it yet. However, if that is the case, GO SEE IT. It holds a lot of 'swash swash buckle buckle' action and, although a true POTC movie (rambling on without any real rhyme or reason, little plot, little sense, and little continuity) if you take it for what it is - an action flick - you'll get a lot of sword fights and swashbuckling action that is just worth the time and money.
